Welcome to my blog my name is Alyssa Aviles! I started this blog
as a requirement in my Fundamentals of Technology for Educators class at UCF.
This blog will provide you, my readers, with insight and useful tips into the
technology world in education.
I strongly believe technology can hold great advantages and
provide tremendous benefits for our students when used effectively. The world
is constantly changing, and technology has become a major tool in many careers.
In order to prepare our students for their future, we need to
expose them to the digital world.
On top of being a technology fanatic, I have been a third grade
teacher for the last 3 1/2 years, working for Orange County Public Schools in
Orlando, FL. I graduated UCF with my bachelors in Elementary Education in 2013
and now pursuing my masters in Educational Technology. My goal is to become a
technology coach in my district, training and providing classroom teachers with
digital resources and tools to support student performance.
